I ...I broiled the steak and it was so much better. I think we just got a "bad" cow this year. It's not bad by any means, it's just not the best. Broiling made it so much better. I'm doing this from now on. I'll try your method with the next month with the next cow.Charlihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07724680536427531222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4527291234539767099.post-25109904070757055702011-08-20T06:53:44.340-04:002011-08-20T06:53:44.340-04:00Thanks for the compliment, Charli. :) And just so ...Thanks for the compliment, Charli. :) And just so you know, when I buy steak I get a decent thickness of sirloin...it has a good flavor when grilled, and it can hold up to the cooking without turning into shoe leather. I just salt & pepper it and then grill it on high for about 5-7 minutes per side, depending on its thickness and the desired doneness. I hate mine to be bloody, but I do like a thin thread of pink through the middle, so it stays tender.Selenahttp://glencampbellclan.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4527291234539767099.post-42348122255451218762011-08-08T11:22:24.965-04:002011-08-08T11:22:24.965-04:00We raise a cow each year and have it butchered. I recently tried Selena's broiled chicken and it was so tender and juicy that I decided to try it for our steak today.Charlihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07724680536427531222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4527291234539767099.post-82822037070276659892011-08-08T10:54:41.749-04:002011-08-08T10:54:41.749-04:00Hey, I had a question. How do you prefer to cook it?swissarmymamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09137159868477571001noreply@blogger.com
