Menu Plan Monday for February 6th

Anyone else willing to admit that you say Feb-ru-ar-y every time you have to type this month?  Me neither.

We had a great birthday weekend.  The boys loved celebrating their cousin's birthday at Chuck E. Cheese on Saturday.  Sunday was a wonderfully laid back day.  Ronnie got up with the boys and let me sleep in, then we headed out to Red Lobster for lunch and a little shopping after that.  He helped the boys make me a cake.  So cute.  We finished the day with pizza & wings from Colassesano's and football.  Love a day without cooking!

Bee classes continue this week.  Believe it or not, but they actually have a very full class.  Josh is even asking for his own bee suit.  And yes, this makes me crazy.

My big excitement is this Friday.  Our church has a Parent's Night Out on Friday night, where you can drop the kids off for a night of fun for them while you have a little date action.  We have been waiting for five years for them to finally be old enough.  This is our year.  We're considering it an early Valentine's Day for us.

Here's this weeks plan:
Monday:  Cheeseburger soup, baked potatoes and rolls
Tuesday:  Pineapple pork roast, green beans and applesauce
Wednesday:  Alfredo, green beans and cheesy bread
Thursday:  Beef stroganoff, carrots and salad
Friday:  Pizza night
Saturday:  Pancakes & eggs
Sunday:  Leftover night

I'm also pretty psyched to use one of my birthday gifts:
A duo crock pot.  You know I have big crock pot love.  I can't wait to try it out.

That looks awesome! How much does it hold?

It's supposed to hold 2.5 quarts each side. I'm trying it out tomorrow with a pork roast and green beans. We'll see how it works.
