On the bright side, the boys caught a lot of nice fish.
Ronnie must have felt a little left out, so he decided to go swimming.....
Would I have picked a rainy day to go fishing? No. No, I wouldn't have. But I will say that we did have a great time and at least I didn't have to worry about anyone getting wet from falling in. We were all soaked through and through.
If you haven't been fishing at Guyses Run, you should go. It's a great little area. Adults fish for $3 and kids under 6 fish for free - no license needed.Check out their hours here.
And maybe pick a day that it's not a monsoon.

What a great time with Daddy! Those moments seem so few in our house. I am sure those kids will always remember fishing with Dad in the rain.

It seems like family time is so hard to accomplish, but it's so important. I'm really trying harder to make it happen.
