Tempt Your Tummy.               Things I Think About.               Project Time.

Look what I did.

I love Pinterest.  I know I've said this before, but it's so true.

Today, my friend Julie pinned a genius idea.

I like plug ins...you know, the nice smelling things that plug into your wall.  I have a few from Yankee Candle that I really like, but I'm just a little too cheap frugal to pay full price for them.  I usually use my Kohl's cash to pick them up or wait for my mom to buy me one when we go to Cracker Barrel.

No more girls.  Look what I can do:

I refilled my plug in!

It was very simple.

Here's what you do:

1.  Remove the top cap.
2.  Pull out the wick & plug.
3.  Add 1/3 amount of essential oils.
4.  Add a little over 1/3 water.
5.  Push the plug back in.
6.  Put the top back on.
7.  Plug it in the wall.

I only had peppermint oil and I'm not the biggest peppermint fan, so I added in some vanilla extract also - which explains the brown color.  It smells great.

The hardest part of this project was getting the plug out.  I finally used a butter knife and pried it up at the side.  It does look a little jacked up on the side, but no one will see that.

Oh Pinterest, how I love you!

That's really neat. I used to use those all the time in the US. Then I thought about all the garbage I was putting into the air and if it contributed to allergies. Not sure, but I do like them.

Rachel, I feel that same way. I love how nice it smells, but I wondered about what chemicals I have lingering in the air.
