Menu Plan Monday for October 3rd.

The boys are finally feeling better.  We still have some lingering coughs, but all in all things are much improved.  We had to miss our field trip to the aviary on Friday, but made up for it (kind of) with a trip to the meat processing plant to pick up our cow.  The nice man there took a liking to the boys and gave them a detailed look at what exactly happened to our cow from the time they got it, until it ended up vacuum sealed in boxes.  They also each left with candy and $1 each from the staff at Hyde's to stop for ice cream.

Needless to say, my freezer is full.  Don't be alarmed to see quite a bit of beef on the menu over the next few months.

Here's this weeks plan:

Monday:  Cheeseburger flat bread melts, applesauce and salad
Tuesday:  Breakfast for dinner.
Wednesday:  Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and carrots.  (Not made last week)
Thursday:  Taco Salad
Friday:  BBQ chicken layered dinner with sweet potatoes and salad
Saturday:  Leftovers
Sunday:  Crock pot Tilapia, baked potatoes and green beans.

If you have any great beef recipes, I'd love to hear about them.
Leave me a comment.

Thanks!
