Lesson learned from the past week: I am old.
I stayed up until 2 am on Thursday/Friday to finish painting one of our rentals before the carpet was installed. I stayed up late on Friday after teaching co-op and going out to dinner for my Father-in-laws birthday, so I could work on my chart reviews for the hospital. I stayed up late on Saturday having a great time at Josiah's bonfire.
I honestly woke up Sunday morning feeling like I had been beat. I am well aware that I am an early bird, not a night owl. This week has proven my point!
This week is the beginning of the Fall Pantry Challenge with Tracey from Building my House. Ronnie's on vacation this week, but we're just staying around the house to work on some projects including installing my new garbage disposal. It's probably a little sad that I'm so excited about that, huh?
Here's this week's plan:
Monday: Roast chicken, baby carrots, baked potatoes
Tuesday: Loaded potato skillet and applesauce
Wednesday: Taco stuffed shells and salad
Thursday: Pancakes and baked apples
Friday: Leftovers
Saturday: Homemade pizza
Sunday: Soup beans and cornbread
Not a whole lot going on this week. Which is a good thing. I need to recoup from last week still!

You're excited about the garbage disposal b/c you are OLD!! (just kidding, I would be thrilled too!!) Have a great vacation week with Ronnie!! I hope lots gets accomplished, and some much needed rest comes too!
Maria you are right!
You are in good company, I'm old too! I've always been a morning person.
Considering joining your pantry challenge as I am well stocked in the meat & pantry department. Still need my fridge staples but considering I started this morning with an unexpected trip to the dentist to repair a chipped tooth, I could definitely save some money. Will let you know how it goes!
Megan
Oh no Megan! That is no way to start a Monday.
