15 April 2013

Menu Plan Monday for April 15th.

It's tax day!

Ronnie & I loaded up the boys and headed to Belington to drop off our taxes on Saturday.  Yes, our accountant is over an hour away but she is awesome.  She's been doing Ronnie's taxes since he was a lineman many years ago.  It was a great day for a drive.  We stopped at Southern States in Grafton on the way home and picked up our seeds for the garden then headed to Star Furniture  in Fairmont where we picked out a recliner for our living room.  The boys enjoyed the lift chairs, but we told them we weren't quite that old yet.

We survived all the birthday chaos of this week.  We also had a lot of fun at Follies this year watching our niece Erika.  She's the one on the right.

The boys were excited because this year they could see her.  Last year she was in the band and they couldn't tell which one she was.

This week is low key.  Thankfully.  Here's my menu plan for this week:

Monday:  Marinated pork medallions, sweet potatoes, corn.
Tuesday:  Crock pot chicken and baked potatoes, broccoli
Wednesday:  Taco Skillet Tacos, salad
Thursday:  Three cheese baked spaghetti, salad, garlic bread
Friday:  Foil tilapia, baked potatoes and cheesy broccoli & cauliflower.
Saturday:  Breakfast for dinner
Sunday:  Leftovers

There's still quite a lot going on here this week including Week 3 of both the Homeschool Blog Hop and Get Your Aprons On.  Stop back and check it out.
