Menu Plan Monday for August 13th.
Oh girls. Last week was just about a bust.
I came home from my wonderful Women of Faith trip with a sore shoulder and neck. As in, I couldn't even turn my head to the left. Yikes!
Unfortunately, this is nothing new. I injured the same area about 15 years ago at work turning a patient. I actually had an axillary nerve palsy and couldn't grip my left hand for a few months. It still flares up from time to time. Luckily, this was nothing that bad, but it still feels pretty awful.
This week was basically doing the bare minimum along with rest, ice, a couple trips to the chiropractor and a massage. I'm just proud of myself for making through two days of work without calling off.
This week will be a lot of repeats that I didn't make:
Monday: Crock pot roast chicken, carrots and sauteed zucchini
Tuesday: Pulled pork sandwiches, applesauce, leftover carrots & zucchini
Wednesday: Dinner out with friends
Thursday: Crock pot tilapia, mac & cheese and broccoli
Friday: Breakfast for dinner
Saturday: Steak, baked sweet potatoes and green beans
Hopefully I can stick with it this week.
