Today is the start of the Make you home a haven challenge. I have my candle lit and I'm ready to start my day.
I was planning on showing you a picture from the boys hunting trip, but while loading them I found that the boys had been using Ronnie's camera. Here's what I found:
Nice.
I'm picking up an extra day at UHC this week, so as always, my menu is going to be quick and easy.
Monday: Ritz cracker chicken, broccoli and cheese.
Tuesday: Eggs, bacon and toast with orange juice.
Wednesday: Spaghetti and meatballs, green beans and garlic bread
Thursday: Crock pot loaded baked potato soup. leftover garlic bread.
Friday: Homemade pizza, mixed fruit.
Saturday: Soup beans and cornbread.
Sunday: Thanksgiving dinner with my in laws. Make rolls.
You read that right. My mother in law likes to have Thanksgiving dinner the first part of November. That way it doesn't interfere with the men and their hunting and she doesn't have to share us with my and my sister in laws family on the official holiday. It's actually really nice. No rushing from house to house.
By the way, I still haven't made a dent in the crazy 25 pound bag of pinto beans I purchased in the spring. It's like the widow's oil - it never ends!
Oh, and here are my little hunters:
Talk to you later!
