Menu Plan Monday for February 4th.

I'm almost a little embarrassed to put out my menu this week.

It's a running joke at our house that I celebrate my birthday week, not just day.  It started years ago when I was working in the cath lab.  Back in the day we could have different company reps bring in lunch for us.  Since my birthday and Lois's birthday were just three days apart, we would load up the week with free meals.  It was such fun that I just started celebrating birthday week from then on.  While I'll admit my birthday week celebration has slowed down quite a bit since I'm not working full time, I still have the ability to drag it out as long as possible.

So in celebration of turning forty-two, ahem... older tomorrow, here's my plan:

Monday:  Birthday dinner at Muriel's with Ronnie & the boys.
Tuesday: Birthday dinner at my in-laws..
Wednesday:  Leftovers (I'm going out for my birthday dinner with my aunt)
Thursday: Oven baked chicken fajitas, strawberries.
Friday: Crock pot hot dogs, Custard Stand sauce and oranges.
Saturday: Pancakes, eggs, sausage and peaches.
Sunday: Crab cakes, baked potatoes and green beans.

I'm also going out to breakfast on Saturday with my mom for, you guessed it, my birthday.  While I do spend a lot of time with her, it's rarely every alone.  I'm really looking forward to it.

Hop on over to orgjunkie.com for more menu planning ideas.  I'm not the best example this week.

Happy Birthday Week everyone!

Sounds like a fun week!!!! Enjoy it!!! :) And while you feel embarrassed posting this menu...I'm jealous!! Three nice dinners in one week, and a breakfast...and two without kids!! I'm going to institute a birthday week!!! (we technically can do a birthday 2 week thing b/c Adam's, Liam's, and mine are all within two weeks of eachother!)

Happy Birthday week!!! :)

Thanks Rachel!
And Maria, I know! It really is a present to me to not have to cook or clean up for a few meals.
